Quick Texas Trip

Since Dan is TDY in Texas for training I decided it would be nice to take a quick trip back again to see him and the rest of our family. It just happened that President's Day fell on the same week I had my Friday off so I was able to go home for a week and only take three days of vacation. Dan picked Tanner and I up at the airport and it was such a joy to see Tanner's face when he realized his daddy was there. I was wearing him in the baby Bjorn and his little legs were just kicking away and he had a huge smile on his face! We spent a couple days at Dan's parent's lake house as a family and then Dan dropped Tanner and I off at Ted and Allison's house so I could spend some time with them and see our nieces. We even got to have a play date with our cousin-in-law, Peyton.  It's crazy how big they have gotten and it's only been a couple months since I was home last. The next day my parents drove to Temple to pick Tanner and I up and take us back to Houston. We spent Wednesday and Thursday with Dan's parents.  Grandpa Butch even went and bought a stroller for us to keep in Houston since Tanner loves going on walks! It was great getting to spend time with them.
My dad turned 60 on Saturday so we had a surprise party for him. It was great to see all our family friends and spend time everyone. Dan was even able to make it down to Houston for the weekend so we got to see him twice! Here are some pictures from our trip...they are off my cell phone so they're not the greatest but I love capturing our precious memories!

Eating applesauce with oatmeal for the first time! He love it! :)

 Sweet Avery being silly!
Tanner with his "charchi" doll.  Grandma Foster made this for him. Dan had one of these dolls (really 5 of them) when he was a baby and it was his favorite so grandma made Tanner one.

We had a great time with our family and can't wait to see them all again.
