6 months!

I can't believe our little boy is already 6 months old! The time is going by so fast and I'm sure it's only going to go faster and faster as he gets older. Tanner has made all kinds of progress over the last month. He's sitting up unassisted, pushing himself backwards to get to where he wants to be, trying to get up on his knees (still hasn't mastered this), sleeping without a swaddle and now he's able to put himself to sleep! Dan's going to come home to a whole new baby! :)  Teaching him to self-sooth wasn't the funnest experience but I'm happy I was able to get through it. He's sleeping so much better and I'm not getting up every 2-3 hours anymore.  I also took Tanner to the doctor last week since he's been pulling on his ear a lot and I wanted to make sure he didn't have an ear infection. He's weighing 16lbs 7oz and he's teething! His bottom two teeth are trying to come in but who knows how long that will take. We're going to take him to his official 6 month appointment once Dan get back in town. Tanner and I can't wait for him to be home...only 12 more days!!!!  Tanner is also starting to eat a lot more food. He loves apples, bananas, pears, sweet potatoes, squash, carrots, peas and he hates green beans.  We really haven't been up to too much lately but here are some pictures from the last couple weeks...enjoy!
